The Magnolia Saloon, with it’s Rustic Old West Charm, sits just like it did when the way of the west was the law of the land. With its original rustic bar and wood plank floor, rock and adobe walls (which are 30 inches thick), swinging doors on the inside, and large Iron Doors on the outside. Old photos, spanning the many years of History in this early Gold Mining Town of Coulterville, along with tools and artifacts of days gone by, make up the décor in the Magnolia Saloon, giving our guests a feeling of what it might have been like back in the 1850’s, during the heart of the Gold Rush Era.
Once only a watering hole, the Magnolia Saloon now offers guests a variety of Menu Items to choose from while soaking up the ambiance and partaking of the liquid concoctions served by the Bartender, who will most likely be, the Proprietor himself, Peter Schimmelfennig.
