Map of Coulterville, CA

We're right at the Intersection of Historical Hwy 49 & 132.

Unfortunately, in years past, Coulterville has been nearly taken off the map, with most freeway signs directing vacationers to take Hwy 120 to Yosemite, but... Coulterville is the original Gateway for the first stage coach road to the Yosemite Valley, in fact, President Theodore Roosevelt himself traveled this route and stayed in Our Historic Hotel Jeffery in 1902. The entire town of Coulterville is a Historic Landmark, with 47 designated Historic buildings and sites located within the town limits. Those of us who care about the preservation of this Historic Gold Rush Town are working hard to put it back on the map…..to make it a destination point! Therefore, we will take the liberty to invite you to drive the most scenic & the original route to Yosemite, through our little town of Coulterville, and we thank you for considering to do so! Enjoy!….Your on Vacation!!

From the San Francisco Bay Area:
Take Interstate 580 East to Interstate 205 East From Interstate 205 East take the Interstate 5 North exit Take the Hwy 120 ramp towards Manteca/Sonora and merge onto Hwy 120 East Take the Fwy 99 South ramp towards Modesto/Fresno and merge onto Fwy 99 South. At the Modesto exits Take Hwy 132/Maze Blvd. exit & turn Left onto 132 Follow Hwy 132 which eventually becomes Hwy 132/Yosemite Blvd. through the outskirts of Modesto and out onto the rolling hills which will lead you through several small towns and straight to our Historic Hotel Jeffery…There will be no missing us, we will loom larger than life, much like we did back in the hey-day of the Gold Rush Era! We'll have the lights on… and we'll keep our eye's open for you!

From Stockton and Sacramento:
Take Fwy 99 South and follow the same directions as above from the Modesto exits.

From Southern California:
Once again, take Fwy 99 only this time, go North, and follow the same directions as above from the Modesto exits.
