Are we Haunted?
Over the past century-and-a-half, strange things have occurred at Hotel Jeffery. Many of these incidences have been documented (click here) and some simply remain as legends passed down through the years. Hotel Jeffery is listed in the book "California Ghost Notes, Haunted Happenings throughout the Golden State" by Randall A. Reinstedt, and today new 'experiences' occur quite often. Come on in and see for yourself!

The Results are IN!
We hired a Paranormal Investigative Team and you won't believe their findings!

REAL ESTATE
Everyone has been asking us about availability and price of Real Estate in this beautiful and historic part of California. If you're curious about living or working in this area, talk to our friends at

Bob and Nanci know this area and the properties available. Simply describe what you are looking for and they'll find it for you if it's out there.

Welcome to Historical Hotel Jeffery!
Establishing itself as a hotel in 1851, this 3 story structure still remains the most impressive Historic site in Coulterville today. The Hotel Jeffery's first humble origins were as a Saloon and Fandango Hall, (ok…maybe not so humble!) George Jeffery purchased the Hotel in 1852, but he did not actually receive title to the property until 1878, an interesting story (one that would certainly not be acceptable in the Real Estate World today) and if you come on in, we'll tell you all about it!

The Magnolia Saloon, with it's Rustic Old West Charm, sits just like it did when the way of the west was the law of the land, with its original rustic bar and wood plank floor, rock and adobe walls
